Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to products supplied by Fliplab, the trading name of Flip Doors Pty Ltd (ABN 41 675 820 621).
This policy should be read together with our Website Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.
1. Warranty coverage
Fliplab provides a 7-year warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship ("Warranty").
This Warranty applies to Fliplab products supplied for residential use and covers defects that:
- Were present at the time of manufacture, and
- Are reported in accordance with this policy.
2. What is covered
Subject to the exclusions below, this Warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in cabinetry fronts, drawer fronts and panels
- Defects in finishes or coatings arising from the manufacturing process
- Delamination or adhesion failure due to manufacturing fault
Where a valid Warranty claim is accepted, Fliplab will, at its discretion:
- Repair the affected product, or
- Replace the affected product, or
- Provide a refund for the affected product
3. What is not covered
This Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or handling
- Damage caused by site conditions, including moisture, humidity, heat or exposure to water
- Movement, warping or bowing resulting from environmental conditions or improper storage
- Normal wear and tear, ageing or patina
- Scratches, chips or marks occurring after delivery
- Colour, grain or finish variations inherent to the materials used
- Damage caused by impact, misuse, neglect or accident
- Products that have been modified, altered or repaired by third parties
- Products installed before inspection or after known damage
- Products used in commercial or non-residential settings
4. Natural materials and finishes
Products manufactured using natural materials may display variations in colour, grain, texture or tone and may change in appearance over time. These characteristics are inherent to natural materials and do not constitute defects.
Minor imperfections associated with hand-finished products are not defects under this Warranty.
5. Installation and care
Proper installation and care are essential to product performance.
- Installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified installer
- Products must be stored, installed and maintained in accordance with Fliplab guidance
- Products must not be exposed to excessive moisture, heat or direct water contact
Failure to comply with these requirements may void this Warranty.
6. Making a warranty claim
To make a Warranty claim, you must:
- Notify Fliplab in writing at customerservice@fliplab.com
- Do so within 7 years of delivery
- Provide proof of purchase
- Provide clear photographs and, where requested, video evidence showing the issue
Claims must be made promptly after the issue becomes apparent.
7. Assessment and remedy
Fliplab may require further information, inspection or return of the product to assess the claim.
If a Warranty claim is accepted, Fliplab will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with this policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
Fliplab is not responsible for removal, installation, labour or access costs associated with repair or replacement, unless required by law.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This Warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
